LEGAL NOTICE
ANNUAL ELECTION OF THE JONESVILLE FIRE DISTRICT
On December 10, 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Annual Election of the Jonesville Fire District will take place on December 10, 2024, between the hours of 6:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. at Jonesville Fire Station #1, located at 953 Main Street, Jonesville and at Jonesville Fire Station #2, located at 629 Route 146A, Clifton Park, for the purpose of electing two Fire Commissioners, one for a five (5) year term, commencing January 1, 2025, and ending December 31, 2029, and the other for a one (1) year term, commencing January 1, 2025, and ending December 31, 2025. All voters registered with the Saratoga County Board of Elections on or before November 18, 2024, shall be eligible to vote.
Polls will remain open for the receipt of ballots between the hours of 6:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. There shall be two (2) election districts: those residing in voter districts 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 28 and 33 are to cast their ballots at Station #1, 953 Main Street, Jonesville and those residing in voter districts 7, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 27, 29 and 34 shall cast their ballots at Station #2, 629 Route 146A, Clifton Park.
Candidates for District Office shall have their names filed in petition form, signed by twenty-five qualified voters of the district, with the Secretary of the Jonesville Fire District, at the fire house at Station #1, 953 Main Street, Clifton Park, NY, no later than twenty days before the election, November 20, 2024. The petition must identify the office they are seeking.
